AVG Professional Single Edition provides antivirus protection for a single computer on multiple levels. It stops viruses before they can be saved to your PC and it detects viruses on your hard drive or removable media before they can be activated. It is AVG’s combined use of advanced detection methods that ensures the reliability of AVG Anti-Virus when protecting your computer from viruses. When a virus is found, it is moved to the Virus Vault, where it is isolated and cannot cause damage.

The AVG SoHo Edition is designed for small businesses and home offices. Licenced specifically for 2 and 5 computers, the AVG SoHo Edition delivers the same features and level of virus protection as the AVG Professional Single Edition. While AVG SoHo Edition does not include complete remote control (available with the AVG Network Edition), it is possible to centrally install and update with the AVG SoHo Edition if your computers are connected via a network.

Licensing Your Workstations

The AVG Professional Single Edition is a single workstation licence. The AVG SoHo Edition is licenced according to the total number of workstations. Packages of 2 and 5 licences are available. To protect more than 5 workstations we recommend the AVG Network Edition. The standard licence period for both is 2 years (vs. 1-year licence of other antivirus companies), giving you more time to work and less need to worry.
