Mongozo Beers - It is not a coincidence that Mongozo Beers is the first listing in this section. Mongozo combines two things (amongst many) which Besupported is enthusiastic about. The whole ethos and concept of Fairly Traded goods and services and really great beer. Difficult to find in the UK (but available here) but worth the effort. The site also gives a great recipe for African Stew with its banana beer as a key ingredient. Never has "doing the right thing" been so enjoyable.
One Water - Carrying on with the drinking theme, it is not everyday that by doing something ordinary we can help achieve something extraordinary. By actively choosing to buy One Water as opposed to other bottled waters we can help to improve people's lives in Africa by providing the equipment which gives them access to free, clean water.
Hatti Trading - Here at Besupported because (in all honesty) we are primarily a group of geeks, we can't profess to know a great deal about handbags. However, according to Tracy our administrator, the handbags offered by Hatti Trading are really nice and because buy buying from them you will be helping to support Nepali survivors of human trafficking and other impoverished, marginalized, and stigmatized women in Nepal both directly and indirectly. Then we thought we'd put them on our list.
Ethical Superstore - It seemed to us that before Ethical Superstore came along, purchasing Fairly Traded and Ethical goods was quite a time consuming and difficult process. Ethical Superstore brings all things ethical under one roof in an online shopping environment which is a pleasure to use. They also do free delivery on all orders over £15, which always helps.
